Rock Tape
Dr. Jarembek has been implementing Rock Tape’s Fascial Movement Taping (FMT) since 2012 and is certified FMT Level 1 and Level 2.
Facial Movement Taping Method
Involves taping over and around muscles in order to assist and give support or to prevent overuse. Rock Tape gives the patient support while maintaining full range of motion, enabling the individual to participate in physical activity with functional assistance. Through the way in which the tape is applied, it can facilitate, relax or inhibit muscle function. Rock Tape is also effective in the removal of swelling, correcting misaligned joints, and supports muscles and ligaments through their full range of motion.
Rock Tape is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while allowing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. It is used to successfully treat a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, neurological and medical conditions.
RockTape can be applied to injuries including:
1. Any Sprain or Strain
2. Postural Disorders
3. Carpal Tunnel Syndroms
4. Tennis/Golfer’s elbow
5. Knee Tracking and Tendon Disorders
6. Ankle Sprains
7. Rotator Cuff/Shoulder Injuries
8. Reduction of Traumatic or Post-Surgical swelling
RockTape is used to:
-Re-educate the neuromuscular system
-Reduce pain
